I don't know how many people here follow a lot of blogs (I know Nelson does, and Syn, and some others), but for those who may not, I thought I'd point out a blogging event known as the Carnival of the Godless.

The Carnival moves from blog to blog, being hosted at a different one each time. It consists of a collection of links to various blog posts, submitted by bloggers to the host. It servers a couple worthwhile purposes, both gathering together a collection of recent high-quality blog posts, and promoting quality blogs to people who may not have heard of them before.

The most recent Carnival of the Godless, #120, is being hosted here, at ((Billy)) The Atheist's site.

I've never encountered the blog carnival concept before, but it looks like an interesting one, and particularly the Carnival of the Godless. I can see this being another interesting thing to waste a lot of time on!

Not that it matters a lot, but that hideous blogcarnival.com site looks like it lifted its design from the early days of the web.

Yeah, the blogcarnival site is pretty bad. Fortunately, it's not needed to enjoy the Carnivals themselves. There are a lot of Carnivals out there, for science (in general), astronomy, biology, and so forth.
