Hey guys I'm curious as to what you guys think regarding  atheist themed tattoos or tattoos in general. Here is an idea I'm working on tattoo.jpg. Any input would be helpful. And before you say you shouldn't care what other people think about your tattoo.. I don't, but its nice to see other peoples viewpoints on things sometimes. And I know some people are going to say its stupid to get a tattoo of a believe in nothing but that's why my tattoo has to do with what i do believe in.

S is Science

L is Logic

E is Evolution

And I'm thinking of putting some quotes around the circle. And the location would be the upper back.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a good day guys :)

I just like the symmetry and it ties everything together.   But its from Full Metal Alchemist and it reminds me that this is the one life we get and to make the most of it with the people i have in my life

I would say logic and evolution are both sub-categories of science.  Science of which, in FMA, consists of slapping your hands together and touching the ground lol.  I'm not criticizing FMA (most people who enjoy anime- myself included- enjoy FMA), just sayin'.

Believing in nothing is called Nihilism; not atheism... just to be clear.  If you believe in nothing, you also reject science, logic, and evolution.  Right?

I have Tiger stripes from my elbos, all the way down to my knees. Once I get into a profession where It doesn't matter if I show my tats, I'll get the forearms and forelegs done as well. It always bothered me that Christians, at least the ones I was raised to be like, simply assumed that animals were FOR people. That dogs and cats should obey people. The christians that I was brought up around, including my family, took literally the notion that Humans have dominion over the animals. But when I went to live with my mom, I had two sisters. My younger human sister, whom I love, and my younger golden retriever sister, whom I miss terribly. Casey, my golden retriever sister, was just that, she was treated as one of my mother's children. She was trained as a search and rescue dog, and had been on several successful missions, and even saved me from drowning on multiple occasions (I've never been a strong swimmer). As such, I've never really viewed animals as really any different than humans, just different species. So When I decided to get my stripes, it was to put me on the same level as the animals, not the same level of the self important Primitive Baptists that I was raised around.

@Maxwell Marovich

I agree with you on the first part. I am an atheist but i meant more how religious people think that we believe in nothing because we don't believe in a god.  I do believe in Science, Logic, Evoloution, The Big Bang

On my left inside bicep I have a quote from Darwins "Origin of Species" as well as one on my left shin. On my right inside bicep I have "Cogito Ergo Atheos". On my left calf I have one that represents a tree with Africa being the trunk and the other continents branching out from it. On my right shin I have the atheist atom next to Darwins Tree of Life. On my right calf I have a Darwin fish and around my right leg I have the evolution from our primate ancestors to Homo Sapien.
