While I am all for tattoos (I have 4 myself), I would never suggest anyone to tatoo there neck. As a matter of fact, there are some honest artists out there that won't even touch the neck.

When you tattoo your neck, you will have a hard time covering it if need be. And let's face it, people can be a little funny about tattoos.

If you are in a position to where you don't have to worry about how someone is going to judge you, then fine, but even I don't have that luxury.

I suggest placing it on the upper arm (also one of the least painful places), back, chest (chest also not as painful), and even legs, (Though, the ankle is a painful area). fleshy areas=less painful, boney area's=more painful. The smallest tattoo I have is on my ankle and it was the most painful of them all.

Find a simple design and use black or graywash ink only, (Red and other colors have a tendoncy to fade overtime.

Please, don't place it on your neck. You will brand yourself in more ways then one, by doing so.
