Atheist billboard defaced on N.C.'s Billy Graham Parkway

"Unknown vandals unhappy about atheists' billboard in Charlotte, N.C., spray-painted "Under God" on the ad, the city's atheist association discovered Monday. The defaced message will remain in place until after July 4, the group reports, which is the soonest that workers can furnish a fresh billboard image."

The latest news is from North Carolina. The latest Attack in the string of vandalism against Billboards and signs for Atheist and/or Secular Organizations. The Billboard originally read "One Nation Indivisible".

Fellow Non-Believers, what shall we do about these strings of attacks against Atheist signs and billboards? Shall we continue to sit by, or shall we do something about this vandalism?

@Synthaetica cant wait for the show!!

and on the general topic...and the super christian comments on yahoo (sigh) i wonder if they realize that "Under God" wasn't added until the 1950's. AND that our country was never founded as a "christian country"

You can't prove that.

(...Meaning, good luck getting these idiots to read an unbiased account of history.) Coming from a conservative, (babysitter, before my mother let me free. xD) they were drowning in Jesus. Their textbooks were written by Christians (homeschooled), their books all Christian, the music was K-Love, the posters were all religious. It's a mad house, and they seriously live in a Big Brother type of place where all "unapproved" things are banned.

(...When I was ten they yelled at me for bringing a book on evolution in the house. No wonder it took me so long to deconvert.)
