What it's all about?

Every ten years there is a census which ask a lot of questions including what religion are you. In 2001. census there were, supposedly, 88% chatolics in Croatia. Which is a lie.
The facts are that there are probably 32% agnostics+atheists in croatia (according to some other censuses like CIA factbook and so on)
While only 15-20% of people go to church, which means that the rest are not "true" catholics by catholics standards because they violate the third commandment. Now, this is important because the Vatican receives a lot of money based on supposed fact that the Croatia has 88% catholics, which it doesn't!

There will be a new census during April, and there is a small group of atheist who are trying to inform the public about this facts and I'm really happy because, finally, I can do something about this.

Well I think that happens a lot in all the countries. There are a lot of atheists that are not counted in the census in United States that category is not even part of the census I think. Atheists also dont come out and vote in mass because of that they cannot influence the public policy as a result of that the politicians keep passing oppressive laws that marginalize atheists more and more very frustrating but we atheists have to be more active and get our views across in calm respectful way I think

@atheistrising, which nebula is it (on your avatar)? Carina?
It's not just atheist, we are trying to explain to people that most of the Croats are agnostic, and based on that cut of funding to the catholic church which gives us a bad name with all of it's scandals (paedophilia, aids prevention...)
