It has to be a little embarrassing to the parishioners that tornados don't give a damn about their church, synagogue, or temple.

Tornados are indiscriminate and no respecter of religion. The monster twister that ravaged Joplin yesterday wiped out the local catholic church. So if someone was inside praying to the Almighty at crunch time they would of been a goner.  I guess god takes a lunch break at the wrong time.  Religious people amaze me that they can thank god when they survive but offer nothing more than "it's a mystery" when things go very wrong. It makes no sense. Emotion trumps logic I suppose.
