Greetings from Anonymous. I have been a member of the Hacktivist group for many years now and i stumbled upon this site and a few things caught my eye.

With that said, I was going to start sharing some of the things we are doing with these two plagues in our society. I also am willing to open the floor to questions about Anon as im sure there are many out there.

Anon started a number of years back 2003 i believe. We are a collective group, that believes in freedom of information. We are activists for people to have the right to be informed aswell as knowing whats Really going on around them.

Presently we are engaged on many many fronts. And doing the right thing is not only very expensive, but time consuming.

As far as WestBourogh Baptist Church is concerned. We (ANON) are still very much focused on them at the activities they are up too. You can find us at 99.9% of anything they are doing in public. This is a very long standing battle that doesn't seem to be going away... yet.

Anon vs Scientology, well what can i say there this is a issue we are very very passionate about and due to the nature of these events not too much i can say at present.

As a collective group we have members worldwide, In every profession, every state, almost every country. We dont always see eye to eye when it comes to raids, ops, or planing/execution. However we do what is for the good of ANON as a whole and the people we are trying to help.

I could go on and on, but at this point id like to close here and open the thread for discussion.

as far as this topic goes for example the CoS battle is completely against the church it self not its members, even though they have things to say we dont agree with they are not the focus. so the answer to that question is yes. When we focus in on a target we always take into account collateral damage and try to minimize it the best way we can. sometimes this is unavoidable. as far as agents of free speech etc. these are really just some of the things we are involved in. just as an example we have operation alabama we have organized hundreds of members to go there to help rebuild and what ever else we can do. i personally am heading up a nation wide food distribution for homeless and less fortunate persons, we also have operations going in iran, china, and many other locations over the world. our organization is highly motivated very diverse and willing to do whatever we can for the good of the people. most people dont really understand these practices and consider this group one sided like a lose group of kids playing with computers. but in all actuality, our members vary from 10-60 years old. our numbers are well over 500k and completely global. i hope this clears up any questions. feel free to drop me a line here anytime.

i am finding that the mod's of this site are very pro censor ship and feel as if they need to control everything here. i think maybe a tighten up is in order

@Anon: Could you possibly start a discussion regarding the evidence of your claim of censorship and we can see whether they are justified or not? I think perhaps even the mods are interested in our opinion on if their moderation impacts free speech to an unacceptable level as formed by general consensus on the topic.

Yeah, I haven't notice the mods censoring much of anything - just giving some warning here and there when things get heated.  I saw one discussion get pulled, but that was started by a guy calling himself King Nipple who was here to see if we thought raping babies was cool since there was no god, amongst other trolls - it was kinda funny though.

1) No one, ESPECIALLY YOU, will make any law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

2) Use your brain before ever putting fingers to keys.

3) Do you want a picture of you getting anally raped by Bill Clinton while you're performing oral sex on a cow saved to hundreds of thousands of people's hard drives? No? Then don't put your fucking picture on the Internet. We can, will, and probably already HAVE altered it in awful ways. Expect it to show up on an equally offensive website.

4) Realize that you are never, EVER going to get that, or any other, offensive web page taken down. Those of us who run those sites LIVE to piss off people like you. Those of us who don't run those sites sometimes visit them just to read the hatemail from fools like you.

5) Oh, you say you're going to a lawyer? Be prepared for us to giggle with girlish delight, and for your lawyer to laugh in your face after he explains current copyright and parody law.

6) The Web is not the Internet. Stop referring to it that way.

7) We have already received the e-mail you are about to forward to us. Shut up.

8) Don't reply to spam. You are not going to be "unsubscribed".

9) Don't ever use the term "cyberspace" (only William Gibson gets to say that, and even he hasn't really used it for two or three books now). Likewise, you prove yourself a marketing-hype victim if you ever use the term "surfing".

10) With one or two notable exceptions, chat rooms will not get you laid.

11) It's a hoax, not a virus warning.

12) The internet is made up of thousands of computers, all connected but owned by different people. Learn how to use *your* computer before attempting to connect it to someone else's.

13) The first person who offers to help you is really just trying to fuck with you for entertainment. So is the second. And the third. And me.

14) Never insult someone who's been active in any group longer than you have. You may as well paint a damn target on your back.

15) Never get comfortable and arrogant behind your supposed mask of anonymity. Don't be surprised when your name, address, and home phone number get thrown back in your smug face. Hell, some of us will snail-mail you a printed satellite photograph of your house to drive the point home. Realize that you are powerless if this happens ... it's all public information, and information is our stock and trade.

16) No one thinks you are as cool as you think you are.

17) You aren't going to win any argument that you start.

18) If you're on AOL, don't worry about anything I've said here. You're already a fucking laughing stock, and there's no hope for you.

19) If you can't take a joke, immediately sell your computer to someone who can. RIGHT NOW.

Pissed off? It's the TRUTH, not these words, that hurts your feelings. Don't ever even pretend like I've gone & hurt them.

We don't like you. We don't want you here. We never will. Save us all the trouble and go away.

Is this a manifesto of sorts?  Who is it directed at?
