Ahmadinejad Says Europe is Stealing Rain from Iran!!!! lolol

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Europe 'stealing Iran's rain'

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused Western countries of plotting to "cause drought" in Iran by using high tech equipment to drain the clouds of raindrops.

Moments after the Iranian president made the startling claim at the inauguration of a dam in a central province, it started to rain.

"Western countries have designed plans to cause drought in certain areas of the world, including Iran," Mr Ahmadinejad said in the city of Arak in Markazi province.

"According to reports on climate, whose accuracy has been verified, European countries are using special equipment to force clouds to dump" their water on their continent, he said.

By doing so, "they prevent rain clouds from reaching regional countries, including Iran," Mr Ahmadinejad charged.

Iran has experienced several droughts in recent years.

Mr Ahmadinejad also recalled an article by "a Western politician," whom he did not identify, in which "droughts in some regions spanning from Turkey and Iran to east of Asia are predicted for the next 30 years."

"The regions (referred to in) the article ... include countries whose culture and civilisation frighten the West," Mr Ahmadinejad said in support of his argument.

Iranian leaders claim on a daily basis that Western countries, led by arch-foe United States, devise "plots" to undermine the Islamic republic and to impede its economic and scientific development.

They also accuse world powers of colluding against Iran's national unity, independence, political establishment, culture as well as international relations.

Mr Ahmadinejad is involved in an unprecedented power struggle with the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He recently refused to obey orders handed down by Ayatollah Khamenei less than two years after the pair formed a powerful political alliance to defeat anti-regime protests that swept the country.

Batshit imbecile! This deluded propaganda will be believed by some Iranian people as it will appeal to their 'anti western confirmation bias'  It kind of makes you sad.

Derek, I am Iranian and the only Iranians who will believe this crap are the extremely poor village folks (and even the vast majority of them won't believe it); believe me, Iranians don't take this kind of crap seriously. They have heard crazy stuff from him (and all the executions and murders) since he's been in office. It is just embarrassing and at the same time reflects the maniacal mindset of the regime.

And Iranians are not anti-west; behind Israel, we are the most pro-American country in the Middle East. I just spent over 8 months there as of a few months ago. Believe me, Iranians of every walk of life are pro-American (whether youth, shop owners, the 50-year old taxi driver etc.). The regime has extremely limited support. They survive with terror, oppression, fear, and violence. But their days will be up soon...very soon..

Sassan K.  I was not aware of that.  I was under the impression Iran was a ceespool of anti-western hatred. I need to do some research now you have got me thinking!

So you reckon mass protests are on the way there? . . . like those seen recently?

You see Derek, Iranians have suffered a lot the past 30+ years and the one and only great thing about this regime (despite the rapes, murders, tortures etc.) is that this regime has allowed the Iranian people to see what true Islam is like. I call Iranians in general fake Muslims; some of them may call themselves Muslim but they do not pray and are not Muslim one bit. For example, my grandparents are the only ones in my family who do pray (my grandpa is nearly 90) but he still hates the regime and dislikes organized religion and has seen life under Reza Shah, his son Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and Khomeini & co. The youth are not Muslim at all and more and what excited me was that more and more youth are even refusing to call themselves Muslim and are either no religion, Christian or Zoroastrian converts (Zoroastrianism was our religion before Islam came and forced everyone to be Muslim by rapes, murders, and genocide) and even Atheists!! Of course this is all apostasy and punishable by death so they don't go proclaim it in the streets openly etc (hence during protests "allah akbar chants" and other religious chants is a way to do two things: 1) reduce deaths by making some elements of the regime thugs feel cognitive dissonance and guilt of "killing fellow Muslims", 2) Using the same tactics and tricks used against the Shah by the regime thugs 30+ years ago; when I was in Iran I even chanted that out the window on some night to commemorate some protests. In addition, I find the 50-year + age range with a lot of atheists and this is evident from not only people I know but from taxi drivers to shop owners and when you have the 50-year+ male (good % of them) as atheist, it is a good sign. In addition, people in Iran are sick of religion and despise organized religion in majority.

With protests, it is difficult to get into the streets when the government has all the weapons and the people have no weapons so there has to be special occasions to start protesting. This will happen again in less than 2-years during the next round of fake Presidential elections they have; this will give people reason to again come out to the streets in masses (in masses less people die) and I hope the international community will stand stronger behind the Iranian people and assist them (whether militarily, pressure, strait of Hormuz blockade); but the expiration date for this regime is up. They have no supporters (only maybe 2-3% hardcore supporters) and maybe 7-8% other supporters only on the surface who have to "show" to support the government for government jobs. Remember, we are Iranian (we are Aryan) and our language is Persian; and our holidays and traditions are Persian and not Islam (i.e. Persian New Years). In fact, we also have no problem with the state of Israel. It's not that Iranians love them but they don't care one way or the other. Our problem is with the terrorist regime that has occupied our once great nation and instead of taking care of the Iranian people sends billions of dollars per year to terrorists worldwide including the Taliban but most prominently the Hizbollah in Lebanon, Hamas, and other terrorist organizations. This regime is an end-of-the-world prophetic regime which not only kills and oppresses our people; but poses a grave threat to the entire free world if allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.

I forgot to mention: Islam has no future inside of a free Iran esp. with the next generation. This is the only great thing this regime has done; Islam has no future inside of Iran and Iranians demand nothing more and nothing less than a secular democracy that values human rights, human dignity, and a system in which religion and government are completely separate.
