What you thought I was leaving my local & reason behind for some fiction based ideology, Oh fuck no, no, no I'd never, how could I, I'd be truly betraying 4 billion years of evolutionary success.

I am only 22 years young, yet I feel I have the knowledge of an elder, tho I exert myself trying to utilize my strengths in science to my peers for their own benefit, they remain ignorant, how could my generation ones who exploit technology every second they breathe be so scientifically illiterate, how ironic & contradictory is that, as one of the most inspiring person to walk the earth once said, “We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology.” —Carl Sagan

Reason for my erupt retire in educating the wonders of science, I came to the conclusion the human race is stupid, now we're all known this, but what I'm referring to is, the human race is dependent on it through out history we've created gods for water, the sun, zombies, why? you must ask, for solace, we are ants in the grand scheme, floating on a speck of rock in a cold universe, we will always have religion dragging the human race down, some people are too weak, they are pathetic if it wasn't for religion they would be nothing, some people accept (atheists) their fate that we will one day die & THATS IT, nothing more, religious people are those beggars in the streets asking for hope, in a world that doesn't not give a shit, they are weak how else would millions be controlled like sheep, you must be absolutely stupid, on the boarder line of retarded or mentally psycho to believe a white bearded asshole doesn't want to to masturbate, & wants you to believe in him with out an ounce of proof it's not faith, faith is a word used by those who are too fucking lazy to do shit for themselves, I am not sorry if you are religious, you are in my eyes a fucking mentally handicapped person & I have not met one person who is religious that has shown me otherwise.

Statistically, you're right. But categorically you're wrong. Not everyone is as bad as you suggest. It is, in my experience (I turn 50 this year) well-worth keeping up the "good fight" for the sake of the minority of people who will do the right thing. IMHO.

in the years you've lived it is worth the fight?

Some would call that kind of abdication of beliefs "selling out."  I'm not accusing you of that. As Harry Callahan said "A man's got to know his limitations."  You shouldn't ruin your personal happiness by fighting for something.

However, you shouldn't give up till you're absolutely sure.

I personally find it very much worth it.  I want to leave the world a better place than it is now; this is one way I can (try to) do that.

Also, one doesn't really have to "fight" - one need only live a good and honourable life and let others near you learn by example.
