I mentioned that I was going to have a meeting with a future priest and my friend. We begun and they just wanted me to ask all the questions, so I began with asking them to defied religion, and faith in their own words. We discuss if there is a Right type of faith and a Right type of religion, and to my surprise they are more confused than I thought - or maybe they are less confused than I hoped. The future priest did most of the talking, he tried to explained to me that there is not one Right religion or faith; that everyone is worshiping his God (the Christian God) whether they know it or not. I told him that if I was Buddhist, I could not possibly be worshiping the God of the Christian Bible, but he said I would be worshipping the same God - "People just give it different names, according to their culture."

As we continued with morality and ethics, they truly believe all ethics come from God but morality does not. I pulled out my bible and read to them Psalms 137:8-9 and 2 Kings (cant remember exactly) they were shocked that the bible could possibly say that.

Going back to God, religion and heaven........... I asked if I would go to heaven if I was Buddhist - he said yes. If I was Muslim - he said yes. Because to him, God loves everyone, regardless of your up bringings, and he would never let you perish in an eternal hell. I suggested he reads the bible more. Finally I asked him if I would go to heaven being an atheist. He said I will, (unless you have killed and raped or are Satanist). When I added what if I was a Gay Atheist, he backed up and said I was going against God's original plan; but in the end he said I would go to heaven.

Now that I know I will go to heaven!

It's my pleasure to say, I'm going to a gay club with this future priest xD TONIGHT!
