This brings me back to certain people (one of whom I live with) who truly believe that rocks (and crystals, etc.) hold magic powers and properties.

Hahahaha, I live in Colorado and there are plenty of wookie kids obsessed with crystals here!  Don't get me wrong, I like geology and crystals as much the next person, but the whole, "Duuude, this aqua(marine) is so heady, deeeefinitely mad positive vibes coming from it maaaannn", is beyond obnoxious.
