Another Catholic Bishop arrested
Was it two years ago, or three, when Bishop Thomas O'Brien of Phoenix was convicted in a hit-and-run incident that killed a pedestrian?
Today's news includes a story reporting that Bishop Robert Finn, of Kansas City, has been arrested for failing to report a priest who was discovered to have a trove of child-porn images on his computer.
Thomas O'Brien, before his hit-and-run, was also under investigation for covering up pedophilia by his priests.
You would think that these leaders of the Catholic church would be concerned with setting the right example. Instead, they are preoccupied with covering up, either for themselves, or for their fellow clergymen. Great example. Is this what Jesus would do?

I personally know many Catholic priests who love to drink whisky... My Uncle was a former priest and he still drinks with his priest buddies. I have even met Catholic priests riding around on Royal Enfield bikes looking as cool as any next door college guy. Catholicism is like the most liberal form of Christianity. They can convince themselves that nothing they are doing is wrong in the eyes of the Lord. If we cannot fight the sin, accept that we are sinners and try to sin as less as possible.

According to the story I read, he was only charged, but not arrested.
