Sorry, people I may do this a lot. If you have left Y/A R&S never to return because you couldn't take it anymore, you may wish to skim past my blogs!
I think this one has a real chance. Do feel free to rate it on spelling and grammar, incorrect terminology, willfull ignorance, genuine ignorance and gratuitous abuse of atheists.

Equations do say all that stuff is true. But humans are more intelligent than their own equations
************************************************
If I were to give this a rating out of 50 it would go like this:
Spelling and Grammar - 0/10 (makes a nice change)
incorrect terminology- 10/10
Willful ignorance- 9/10
Genuine ignorance - 8/10
Gratuitous insults - 0/10
Hmm - 27/50, not as high as I thought. I think the 'DNA can't exist because acid would make us all melt' question is still in the lead because of his grammar issues and abuse of atheists. I give him a 33/50. If anyone else cares to give a score I may inform the lucky winner when I have five contenders.

"parts is parts" but hearts ain't hearts.
Comment by Jason Paisley on September 10, 2011 at 4:40pm Now that's a special kind of stupid.
Comment by Helen Pluckrose on September 10, 2011 at 4:57pm Jason, thank you! My blog has been hijacked by a (very interesting ) debate on non-human organ replacements and its relevence (or lack of) to evolution but still, I'm pleased they found the question thought provoking! :)
Comment by Helen Pluckrose on September 10, 2011 at 8:20pm Holland - you must have posted at the same time as me earlier! I have wondered if dragons were a result of people finding dinosaur bones but i was never sure how deep down they would be - it seems as if records of people discovering them are relatively recent and I always meant to look into that more - they could be found could they by people digging without any technology or industrial equipment? Thats probably a silly question as foundations for large buildings must always have had to be deep.
Comment by Unseen on September 10, 2011 at 9:05pm @Helen I always love it when you get into a spirited discussion with an idiot and then they say one last thing telling you not to bother replying because you're being blocked. A real tail-between-the-legs way to end a discussion.
Comment by Rick on September 10, 2011 at 9:20pm @Helen: Were your posts responses from someone on this site or an external one? I'd love to follow that discussion... and perhaps join in :)
Am so glad Rick asked if the posts were from someone here or an extrenal site because I felt a tad dumb, and assumed some posts had been deleted or just were not showing up.

Apparently we are both regulars. The site is a hoot. It's about half stupid fundies and half atheists. The main stream Christians get caught in the middle. I'll try to email this to you
Comment by Rick on September 11, 2011 at 12:04am Sweet! Thanks!
Comment by Artor on September 11, 2011 at 12:51am On the subject of dinosaur bones & dragons, I've heard that the skulls of extinct pygmy elephants on Crete inspired the legends of cyclopses, since the nasal cavity looks like an enormous eye socket.
