Creationism again rears its ugly head

Texas leaders debate teaching creationism in schools.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/22/us-creationism-texas-idUS...

Debate? The debate is over. creationism and 'intelligent design' are anti-science coupled with irresponsible dogmatic religion. The only teaching of the pseudoscience of creationism and 'intelligent design' is best done as a historical and anthropological curiosity. This affects us all:

- The quality of education for the children of the USA.
- The worldwide perception of the capabilities of US graduates.
- The quality of overall science education.
- The intrusiveness of religiosity and dogma into daily life.
- The quality of the work force.
- The hobbling of our medical and research institutions.
- The overall quality of life.

It's time to put to shame all proponents of creationism and 'intelligent design'. Their unprofessional and inappropriate attempts to indoctrinate exceed limits of decency to become criminal.

Let's see them pray away Cancer or Aids or even the "Common Cold"... Oh that's right! That's all part of "His" plan to punish us for our sins, all part of "His Intelligent Design!"

These nutbags should all be locked up and deported to "Never-Never Land!"

@Andrew...I had a guy leave work this week. He & his team had been made redundant. I had to laugh when he stated that he had been praying for 18 months that god would make a way for him to go into full time ministry, and this was that way supplied by god.

What a laugh, god only had to make 3 other people redundant so that he could have his prayer answered...WTF?!
