I've been working on a speech for a public speaking competition at my school and while doing research, I came across a blog that was talking about how God's a murderer. [Link posted at the bottom of blog]

I'd already known this, but based on the estimated total, I was in shock.
Being a former Christian [Evangelical, Protestant], I'd been taught to abide by the 10 Commandments.
One being "Thou Shall Not Kill."

It makes no sense to me how God would tell us to not kill people, yet would kill people based on no faith, or for committing a sin. I find it unusual how God would be exempt from this, but then again, I also understand how he is; he made the rules, he can bend them and change them whenever he pleases. I don't know, I've had this on my mind for about a week now, and I've talked to theist's at my school, who won't talk about it, saying "He's the Lord Almighty, He can do whatever He sees fit." It doesn't seem like a valid point to me. Oh my, he's God. He can do anything, and get away with it! B.S.

Now, if there IS a heaven/hell, and we're being judged based on our actions here on Earth, why is it that we're being judged by a murderer?

I'd love to know what others think of this. (:

I also know that some may be false, but it's still quite interesting I find.

Estimated total killed by God: Over 33 Million.

Well, I shocked the class :P A normally rowdy class went dead silent during the speech. My teacher was rather interested in the speech as a whole. Found it well-researched, well-written, and a well done speech altogether.

And yes; the Bible really IS sick and revolting one thought about.

James: That's very true, the christian god is quite biased on who gets killed or not.
