Why does a God allow all this to happen in the world?

If God is all loving, all knowing and all caring why does he allow the following to happen in the world?

  1. Why does he allow sexual slavery to exist?
  2. Why does he allow the child prostitution?
  3. Why did he allow shaheen(5 year old girl) to be raped many times till her intestines came out and she needed stiches for that too heal?
  4. Why does he allow women to be raped all over the world? Why does he allow women to sexually assualted every two minutes in US?
  5. Why does he allow millions of people to get addicted to drugs?
  6. Why does he allow millions of people to get addicted to alcohol?
  7. Why does he allow millions of people to get addicted to gambling?
  8. Why does he allow human trafficking to exist?
  9. Why does let 850 million people worldwide were undernourished in 1999 to 2005?
  10. Why does he let so many animals and plants go extinct?
  11. Why does he allow people kill each other in the name of god?
  12. Why does he allow the so many billions of people live in poverty?
  13. Why does he allow kids become suicide bombers?
  14. Why did he allow 9/11 to happen?
  15. Why did he allow the world wars to happen?
  16. Why did he allow the war crimes?
  17. Why did he allow millions of jews to butchered by nazis?
  18. Why did he allow chilean miners to be trapped underground?
  19. Why does pick one team to win in sports and make other lose?

And many many more there is so much pain and bad in the world why does he allow all that to happen why?

It is irritating when they say that it "only makes you stronger," because it is like so you think those kids dying of AIDs in Africa it's making them stronger, or all the children molested by Catholic priests? Then they try and blame satan as well to counter your questions. Religion is such bullshit

@Dara - of course 'god' didn't allow these things to happen because the concept is a work of fiction.  You need to learn that when an atheist posts these things they aren't entertaining the notion that theist delusions have any merit - they are just showing the depravity that theists are deluded enough to worship.  You don't need to rationalize these injustices to us because we aren't balking at the injustice we are just balking at your belief that there is some inherent good behind all of this.

Read Paul's Letter to the Romans. These are suppose to be signs that, indeed Sin has come in the flesh and is indeed a living agency. The diametric opposite of Christ coming in the flesh, the new living agency to save mankind as oppose to leading it down the garden path as the former.

@Dara - "The jews being butchered by nazis like the holocaust it happened for 4 long years for the 11 million people who all died from hunger or diseases spread, but all that was done by the hands of somebody who was racist and evil."

Yeah but dont forget, although hilter was probably a secular dude, his nazi party was anything but. It was a highly god-based movement and he and it had the full support of the catholic church. the buckles on the belts of every nazi soldier read "GOTT MIT UNS" which means god with us.  so evil yes, but sponsored by religion also, yes. the nazi movement was anything but secular.

The world will be a better place when the last preacher is strangled by the entrails of the last pope.

Sam, The German comment : Was toden mir nicht, machen mir Kraftig - is a philosophical one, not a religious one.  I suspect that it's paraphrased all over the world.

Let me be clear, I believe belief in god(s) is delusional thinking, but for the sake of argument let's take some of the theists' arguments. First, if God allows for free will as a test to see if we are worthy then he permits and does not prevent wickedness and evil as part of some academic exercise. But my contention is that it is worse because God does not just permit evil and wickedness, God permits it IN HIS NAME. How often is evil done in the world because God/ the Bible/ the priest of god/ said we must do it?. So permitting evil for the sake of His own experiment is one thing and it is amoral at best, but permitting it in His name is worse. God, as lawyers might say, is not defending his copyright or trademark, therefore he has no right to its exclusive use. But far more importantly, if people go and commit crimes with your knowledge (because God is reputedly omniscient) and you do nothing about it, you must bear some culpability! So my argument is that even if there were a god, how could anyone think that god worship-worthy? Unless you only worship from fear of the Bully.

Actually, you need to understand that the question is more of an argumentative exploration than any assertion to the literality of Abrahamic Mythology. We don't 'hate' god because we don't believe in a god to hate. We don't believe in god because we don't see any evidence for it. Your inability on understand this reveals more about your comprehension than ours, but I will spare the ad hominem attacks.

@YoureAllCrazy

So if this 'god' is hidden, how are we supposed to even know it's there?  I have found no reliable communication of criteria for 'good behavior' from some ultimately authoritative source - so I'm just doing the best I can based on what I do know and what I have observed.  I fail to see how your concept of this hidden being is supposed to play into our lives.
