Just watched this on the BCC where Louis revisits the Westboro Baptists after 4 years. For those in BBC2 land it is on again tomorrow night. Should be on utube soon.

It’s difficult to know where to start so I will let it speak for itself. We have discussed them here previously See Also

Louis is made up much stronger stuff than I am. I admire his calm in the face of such hateful vile bigotry

I'd have punched every single one of those evil bigots square in the nose, assault charges be damned.

On a calmer note, is there more to this documentary?  I'm in a place where I don't know if I get BBC2, but I'd like to be able to see it.

I am not much of a hater, but these people (excluding the children because they are brainwashed) make me want to scream and punch them in the face for the pain they cause people.

@Kenneth  -thanks that is a link to the first one from 2009 which is worth watching if you can stomach it. The one tonight was a revisit to them. It should be available soon on many video sites.

I wish I could watch the video, it seems to be blocked here on my ship (Deployed, out to sea, US Navy). It's probably for the best since these jackwagons really piss me off. I actually did a video (2 or 3 total over the years) on my youtube channel last year about them (WBC) coming to protest San Diego Com-Con 2010. Shirley Phelps threatened to sue me if I didn't take the video down. I just laughed at her. We actually went back and forth over e-mails from a pervious video I did at the request of someone that moved near to where their (WBC) is based.

I don't think she likes me very much, I am heart broken over this of course.

It scares me that these people are reproducing.

The westboro baptists do the work of a million religious skeptics for them.  They turn more people away from religious zealotry than any number of books, movies, lectures, BillBoard ad campaigns, etc.

The silence of the religious liberal and moderate is also telling.  They should be the ones at the forefront of nipping these guys in the bud.

There is 'some' protest from that side...but not enough.

they are falling apart... yes! just a matter of time, once they fall all religion will follow.. will take a lot of time but it will soon follow.. Hope Jupiter's Cock dangles above us with pride to shower us with greatness as it does..
