I have no kids but i would be livid!!! Its just disrespectful and its worse when they aim it at your kids with the assumption that children are more malleable and therefore easier targets.

 

Like Ben I was asked to do the prayer this year which i also refused but the same people bought me the greatest show on earth so cant complain too much.

I do not suggest any sort of removal of the biblical stories, of Jesus's teachings, nor any teachings or views of any religion from your children's lives.  The bible is full of wonderful bedtime stories and is a genuine piece of marginally historical literature.  You should give bibles to your children just as readily as Korans, books of Mormon, and Evolutionary Biology textbooks(when they grow older.)  Don't shelter your children from religious belief, but rather soak them in all knowledge and give them the tools they need to sift through it and decide what is fact and what is rubbish.  Teach them the bible is a book written by ancient people, teach them the stories of other religions and they will figure out they are just fiction.  Teach your children how to think logically and think for themselves, and they will need no guidance other than that the rest of their lives.

@philip - I agree to a point but giving this crap to kids under 4 is lunacy. Its xmas - give them toys and leave their heads alone.
