If you understand how Google ads work then it makes perfect sense. I see from your profile that you deconverted from Islam. So it wouldn't surprise me if you have done recent searches on Islam, which sometimes leaves a temporary internet file on your computer known as a cookie. Google can then read these and give you relevant advertisements based on what you have visited in the past. For example, I have advertisements for local atheist groups because I've recently been searching for a group to get involved in.

Organizations can also choose to advertise on websites based on that particular sites content. So this website probably specifically chose to put advertisements up on atheist/non-muslim websites. Google can also give you specific advertisements based on your IP address. So I've also gotten advertisements for local churches. Also, realize that anytime you click on those links it costs the organization that sponsored them money. So do whatever you want with that information.

Thanks Dan, for explaining about google ads. I think it could be because I was at a forum discussion with keywords islam by another ex-Muslim, which made it funnier. Though, I think Google should really 'stop being evil' ;-)
