Found the spotaneous quantum tunneling to Mars in this thread at the bottom of page six.

Isn't it amazing how productive I can be at non-work related activities?

Nice work, Shine! Saved me the hassle! There were two different discussions where we went round about on the agnosticism label in depth. I think those are both them.

hehe...no proof, no reason to believe it :-) Sounds pretty simple to me.

No problem, Reggie; I was being entirely too productive at work and had to reign myself in. I mean, we all know the disastrous consequences of an empty inbox! But I have to admit that I'm thoroughly embarrassed by the content of my posts in those threads. :(

Why? I don't see anything to be embarrassed about. Personally, I like seeing your thought processes within your posts and seeing your position on subjects evolve throughout a thread. It shows an intelligent mind at work.

*Blush* Careful, I'm at risk for developing serious intellectual hubris! But you're right that there isn't anything too embarrassingly naive in those threads; I had a chance to read through them in their entirety later and they didn't contain any of my long rambles on agnosticism. Or maybe my memories are distorted and I have this erroneous idea that I used to write long rambles on agnosticism. I remember being in a few conversations, but I was mostly arguing semantics and classical agnosticism. "Agnostic" in regards to cosmological mysteries is so universal that it distinguishes nothing; it's like labeling myself as a non-water-breathing-primate. It's accurate, but it describes every other member of my species and therefore does not really distinguish anything about me. Nobody knows the answers, so what is the point of adopting a title that announces such a self-evident fact?

Exactly!

Whoa whoa whoa whoa... whoa! The mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging primates among us are now going to start looking for gills on everybody else.
