Yeah my brother is a fan of that group. It makes me mad because Christians have been told not to trust Obama; they've been told he's Muslim and Socialist, and that he can't be trusted. They don't hear his words, they only hear the words of their pastor or FOX news. All they know is the dogma being preached at them day in and day out. Not even one of them stops to think for their self; not even one questions anything. Even while I was a Christian, there was something about what Obama spoke of that resonated with me and inspired hope. I knew his was a message closer to Jesus' than George Bush's. I'll never, ever understand the Christian Conservatives' hatred of this man and his Healthcare Reform.

I have seen that in an email. As much as I despised the GWB administration, I never once wished that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, or any other politician I found deplorable would die.

Not only are your friends' views on heath care reform ironic given their situation (or call it cognitive dissonance), but it is also vexing to see people who are pro-life continually wish people dead.

yah my entire Mormon family LOATHES Obama and his anti-God (their words!) ways. I still remember my mom hissing at me over the phone when he was still running in the election, "but he's MUSLIM" and I think I gave her a mini heart-attack when I replied, "so?".

Isn't he Christian though? Why do all the Christians hate him so much?

Barack Hussein Obama. Thats why- they equate that hussein to Saddam Hussein

Hussein is a middle eastern name and a LOTTTTT of christians in the middle-east have "muslim" sounding names when they're simply arabic names.

Another example of lack of education or the ability to use google.

The sheer hypocrisy of these people never ceases to astound me. Whenever I said something critical about Bush, they were the first to bitch about how un-american I am for disagreeing with the president, but now that the republicans aren't in control anymore they never fucking shut up about how much they hate Obama.

I've seen it and said nothing. The page clearly states that it's just a joke and they're not really praying for the president's death, merely using humor to express their disapproval of the current president.

I can't exactly say anything, considering that my own website is littered with wishes for Dubya to get hit by a falling asteroid or spontaneously combust on live TV.
