Today, March 20, 2013, the day and night will be of equal length, an event which is the Vernal Equinox in the northern hemisphere and the Autumnal Equinox in the southern hemisphere. For some reason, Christians like to celebrate this as the time Jesus rose from the dead, hungering for the flesh of the living, and longing to paint chicken eggs with vinegar dye. Or something like that. Anyway, enjoy it. It only happens twice every year. The equinox I mean, not the zombie Jesus.

And this is the good equinox at least for those of us "up over" where most of the landmass is.

I thought easter had something to do with when Jesus came up out of his grave and if he saw his shadow, then it meant six more weeks of Lent.

And on a much more dark-humorous note: A different sort of Easter Egg
