Pro-gay: There is nothing wrong with homosexuality.
Anti-gay: AIDS!
Pro-gay: AIDS is also caused by dirty needles and heterosexual sex.
Anti-gay: Gay people are more promiscuous, so they make AIDS a bigger problem.
Pro-gay: AIDS is spread mostly by straight people.
Anti-gay: Gay sex is inherently more risky than heterosexual sex.
Pro-gay: You're a bigot.
Anti-gay: You're immoral/damned.
I'm tired of seeing the same debate a thousand times. What can be done to change the dialogue?
Comment by Thom on March 5, 2013 at 12:24am I have to go with Adam on this one, although it does seem to be shifting. Overall sex just seems to be a lot more casual. I'm curious to see if it'll end up short term like the free love movement you hear about from the seventies, or if it'll stick around and become a part of society.
Comment by Unseen on March 5, 2013 at 1:06am And by "peers," don't we mean other girls who are having sex?
Okay. I deny that guys are quicker than girls to engage in meaningless sex. For one thing, teen girls frequently have "meaningless sex" with other girls before their first heterosexual experience even though they aren't really lesbian, as a form of rehearsal. Boys pretty much never do this. If a boy has sex with another boy he is gay, very bisexual, or confused.
