I am occasionally asked about my opinion of Mormonism, especially in the context of the recent election.  My answer is always, “Exactly the same as my opinion of ALL religions.”  That usually gets the point across without any need for further elaboration.

Honesty, like mathematics and music are skills that demand some degree of self awareness and an ongoing desire for mastery. It is unclear if or how many are up to the task. Optimistic evaluations of our 'certainty', can be premature..

Sci-Fi club primarily discusses science fiction writing and its authors, but tend to stray into diverse topics.  (Really, its just an excuse for a bunch of middle aged friends to get together.)
