The first thing that comes to mind is that isn't banned from movie theaters, but a mass shooting occured in one. Believers want so bad to forgive god for whatever atrocity happens at the time. This their way of letting him off the hook for allowing this horrible shit to happen.

Sadly, they are correct. If you believe the bible. God was always killing off children or anybody else who did not meet his standards of worship and faith. That's just the kinda god he is.

I saw that and while I usually stay out of those kind of posts on FB. But not after this, when I saw that I posted "Oh, and god is bound my man's law o.O"  I was pissed as well.

the funny thing is, students are allowed to pray and even bring a bible to school. They just can't be mandated to pray.
