I Was Just Curious If Anyone Has Ever Read Or Skimmed Over Some Of Its Pages.

Does Anyone Know What It Has To Say About Anything?

Does It Have A Ten Commandments?

What Sort Of Philosophical World View Does It Have?

I Would Get It And Read It Myself, But I Feel Like That Would Be A Sh*t Storm With My Family That I Do Not Want To Start.

Cause Being An Atheist Is One Thing.

I Don't Want To Give People, Especially Close Minded Idiots, A Reason To Think That I Am Worshiping Their Evil Bad Guy.

Seems childish. Just be an atheist.

I did not even know such a thing existed Horacio, but on the basis that reading it would prove a challenge to my family's religious view I have to say I would read it in front of them, people need a shake now and then !

I keep my Satanic Bible in my bedstand, along with the dagger I use to drive through the hearts of babies during our midnight rituals.

This is a very alluring waste of thought.

The Thinking Atheist did a podcast about the Church of Satan. They covered a lot of what you are asking.

Question: Don't Satanists believe that Satan is the God who rules over something (the Earth, the underworld, Hell)? And if so, aren't Satanists theists?

As far as I understand the stories of a Satan, there is one positive thing about him.  He never rejects anyone.  It's not like you can turn up at Hell's Orifice and be turned away, because you just weren't bad enough.  But seriously, all I have to say on the mater of Satan, can be said in three words.  The same three that apply to all the magic super-beings.

Oh, how ridiculous!

you should have the right to determine for yourself. this is a pdf of the satanic bible by LaVey.

I completely agree where he's coming from, though I don't follow with the rituals. it odd why he would he even included them. since it is to my best understanding that he teaches the individual creates his own god and devil. and so magic is to the Satanist is first useful and then utterly useless. the more knowledge you obtain the less useful the spells, until you eventually realize they are rubbish. like growing up and realizing Santa isn't real. you must work for your own gifts and rewards. spell-results = actions-reactions. so once you get past the fancy words and symbols, they are freaking atheists! it insane, but true!

If you would prefer it all in a nutshell

9 satanic statements (I believe...etc)

11 earthly rules (play nice with others)

9 satanic sins (don't hurt yourself)

and please don't mix up Satanist and satan worshippers. it may all be rubbish, but we are comparing apples and oranges. Satanist are almost all atheists, satan worshipers actually believe satan exists, and they ARE scary! Scarier then fundamentalists.
