I just realized something...

God is BLACK!

I mean, he has to be, right.

The Holy Bible states that we were created in his image.

And there is plenty of DNA evidence that says that the original people were Africans living in South Africa.

And that all other races and people evolved out of them as they began to migrate out of South Africa.

So to me it would make sense that if the original people had dark skin, then wouldn't God, by creating man and woman in his own image, have been black as well?

If we are created in his image we should be nonexistent, not invisible!

Seriously the typical fundie doesn't believe in those African ancestors anyway, so trying to argue that we are black because they were what doG originally created won't fly with them.

A childhood musing: If the only thing that came before the universe was 'God', what is matter made from? Is matter, 'God'?

Don't Worry About it!

So, was God great ape! Or.....?

....

It seems to me the species Homo sapiens,
carries the chutzpah gene.
To think they are the purpose of the universe
when they only just arrived on the scene.

I am not black. So your statement is false.

Don't you know for mormons being black is bad?

Are you naively suggesting that Chistianity should be expected to make sense?

Remarkable what interesting conclusions you can reach when you mix facts and superstition. I had a coworker who left these magazines around claiming that dragons and dinosaurs were the same thing. Guess which semi-historical document they used as evidence?

I expect that 'once', christianity did make sense to many more than now. With the right bells and distractions, it could be sold as a reasonable option, but will need several TV and radio stations to keep it in our awareness. People falling down during prayer retreats and rallys, action figures for children, entertainment parks, poorly done documentaries, embarrassing interviews, etc, keep the entertainment value high, but insight low.

As the human mind matures, even with the apparent back peddling at times, I look forword to a future where religion starts looking more and like bad reruns of The 'Brady Bunch', where cute works, steriotypes are packaged as 'norms', and dialogue is predictable.

Oh, is this 2012?

Sorry, I thought this 1983.....LOL

My Bad!
