Wow Physeter, I'd never heard of her. (I've only been in the USA around three years). I find that whole belief system so incredible. How awful.
I just found out about it because of that first link, one of my regular blogs since I've started reading atheist blogs. From what I can tell that muderer was seriously delusional--thinking she heard voices behind the walls, cartoon characters were communicating with her kids, etc. It's quite possible she would have come up with some other reason she "had to" kill her kids. But how creepy is that, that well-accepted beliefs of Christianity so easily led a delusional mind to those conclusions?
Physeter - appreciate the link, it gave me another chance to rant! What really impresses me, everytime I visit such a site, is the number of atheists posting, ridiculing religion - it gives me hope that we shall overcome.
