Well, I was trying to be nice and reason with them, but they didn't seem to want to...weird...lol
Anyways, here it is:
I'll be updating as it goes on haha

Oh trust me, it was extremely hard not to go off on them haha. He never replied back to my last comment, I'm guessing because replying would just prove me right if he kept it up, or his ego would be too hurt if he apologized (least that's what I feel like)
He never did explain the "driving a care lately" bit though...I really wanted to hear it lol
I love the whole issue of homosexuality not because I am lesbian myself, though that helps, but because it ties the religious up into knots and makes total monkeys out of believers as they try to justify their horrific views.
Nina van der Roos.
Damn those gays for demanding their rights! LOL
Just imagine the impudence of a group of people that have for centuries been continuously vilified actually asking to be treated equally! What is the world coming to?!
I'm sorry, but try as I might, I simply cannot understand why the religious right get so worked up about this issue. Why should they even care who gets married and who doesn't? I know, I know, they trot out the old "because the Bible says so" excuse, but as we all know, that's not anywhere near being a valid answer.
Regardless, hats off to you for at least trying to have a sensible discussion with these losers. I suspect the only outcome was you ending up with a headache, and I'm sorry for that, but well done anyway.
I don't think they use the bible to cover up their bigoted behavior, but their churches preach it from the pulpit and their circles perpetuate the discussion. When it comes up in the news they rile in front of their TV's and scream venomous rants about gays etc. But if you could pull back the veil from their eyes and thinking they would recover from those thoughts.
It's sad to see, but I am sure if any of them depart religion that they will be equally embarrassed for those comments.
I would just post this video and leave it at that:
