Maybe not "embrace"...hopefully it will eventually "tolerate", however. I think they tend to be under the understanding that believing in a higher power means one will not be quite as alarmed by the threat of death that comes along with war.

Joining MAAF doesn't require coming out. That online support and information about the larger community can provide comfort and courage. I can certainly understand and respect the fear people feel, but now is the time to come out.
