The scene is a Hollywood movie studio boardroom.  S.H., the studio head, is probing his staff for some "blockbuster movie ideas".

One tidbit-

Watered-down anti-bullying legislation in Michigan

From the "Detroit Free Press"-

 

"The Michigan Senate passed legislation Wednesday that requires school districts to develop anti-bullying policies, but the father of the boy for whom the bill is named says he has strong objections to language inserted at the last minute.

Thought this only happened in other places......

.....but I see the bucolic East Coast is not immune.

 

A local evangelical church is featured in "Halifax Magazine", a free add-in to the local Sunday paper.

"Ordered" to pray?

This morning, as a serving member of my countrys' Navy, I participated in "Ceremonial Divisions",  a formal parade where a visiting dignitary inspects the troops, medals are awarded, speeches are made. At one point during "Divvies", we are ordered to "Remove Headdress" while the School Chaplain recites a prayer.
