Christmastime?

I have a confession - I love the holiday season. I love Christmas' blatant commercialism and Santa Claus and all of that. One of my by-the-book atheist friends, however, was quick to make fun of me for wanting to get Christmas lights for my house. Is it really such a conflict being an atheist but enjoying the holiday festivities?

Frustrated

How can I assert my lack of belief when the person with whom I'm talking cannot comprehend what I'm saying? His lack of understanding or misunderstanding creates a wall I can't break. How can I possibly defend my beliefs (or lack thereof) when my methodology of cogitation isn't understood by the other party?
