How Jesus' Views on Marriage Proves Yahweh's Laws are NOT Absolute OR Jesus is Mistaken

Marriage is still viewed as a sacred institution in our society, although it has different meanings for many people.  Christians view it as a "gift from god," or a"spiritual representation" of their relationship with God.   Truth be told however, the institution of marriage came about for economic reasons, and not out of love for a god, or the love for a potential… Continue

Why Jesus (if he existed) Ain't Coming Back -The Bible Version.

Most Christians believe that Jesus will return one day to save them from us godless heathens and "take them up into the clouds"--but if they actually read their bibles they would realize that it ain't gonna happen.  Nope, never.  See the following excerpt from our book which explains why:

"Although Christianity was practiced shortly after the supposed “death” of Jesus Christ, in the Roman Empire it only…

Why Yahweh is Not Against Abortion

This is a short excerpt dealing with abortion from Chapter 2 of the book I have almost completed.  The chapter goes into much greater detail to explain why the Christian god is not against abortion at all.  The following is just one of many explanations:

If we consider that according to Christianity, the Christian…

Why I Hate Thanksgiving

For most Americans, Thanksgiving is a time where family and friends gather together to "Thank God" for their "blessings" --which I find bizarre.  Traditionally, Thanksgiving is said to have originated with the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians who are said to have shared an autumn harvest feast in the year 1621, but the roots of Thanksgiving are deeper than that.  Harvest celebrations were common amongst many groups--from the the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans who feasted and paid…

Why Christians Support Abortion--A Response to William Lane Craig's Argument

This is in response to WL Craig's argument that the slaughter of women, children and unborn fetuses was justified in the bible, as he claims they could have grown into potentially evil people that did much more destruction in the world.  And according to WL Craig, we should actually feel sorry for the soldiers that had to kill these defenseless people.  WL Craig should not be allowed to get…

Rapture Ready?--lol--I Don't Think So

There are various denominations of Christianity such as Baptists and Pentecostals, which believe in a form "rapture, and this post is an explanation of this belief, and why it is, according to Jesus, moot. It is only the supposed words of Paul that have Christians in a tizzy wondering when/if they will be "caught in the clouds" with their god, which illustrates Paul's authority over that of Jesus.

Acts of a Malevolent, Pernicious, Sadistic and Masochistic God

I recently stumbled upon a blog written by a Christian named Michael Homula, who was "born" because his mother decided against abortion. He is now on a crusade to prevent abortions across the US. In this post, I want to illustrate the blatant contradictions used by Christians that they seem totally unaware they are making.…

Happy Mother's Day!

In the spirit of Mother's day, I want to thank all of the mothers that love and respect their families, and raise their children to become productive adults in life. Mother goddesses were revered at times in history, and it ironic that the the Abrahamic faiths, which include Christianity, Islam and Judaism, fail to include a mother goddess in their religions.
Strangely enough,  the…

Why WL Craig's Kalam Cosmological Argument Fails

First of all, ironically, the Kalam Cosmological argument has Islamic roots, so  one of WL Craig favorite arguments that he uses as a defense for Yahweh, is also a defense for Allah.   However, the argument is weak in either case. The argument as stated below "presumes too much."

1) Whatever begins to exist has a cause

2) The universe began to exist

3) Therefore, the universe has a cause

Many Christians believe the universe came from nothing, and that their god… Continue

Atheists are uneducated according to Dr. William Lane Craig

I recently read a post by the Christian blogger "Wintery Knight," who quoted Dr. William Lane Craig after the April 7, 2011 debate with Sam Harris at Notre Dame University. Dr. Craig is apparently trying to do the old "switcheroo" by claiming that the "new atheists" are…

William Lane Craig Defeated Part 2 - The Argument for the Existence of Contingent Beings

This is my response to the arguments for the existence of god, given by William Lane Craig in his debate with Lawrence Krauss at NCU. William Lane Craig's argument is below, and my refutation follows:

Craig's argument:

Ray Comfort's Red Ring of Elightenment

I read Ray's blog today, and could not help but to laugh. It seems a kind atheist sent him just what he needed, and Ray was getting all gushy over the miracles of god! When I read the blog, I really could not tell if… Continue

William Lane Craig defeated - Moral Argument

Yesterday, at NCU, William Lane Craig and Lawrence Krauss took it upon themselves to debate the possible evidence for God. Dr. Craig lists 5 premises which he believes points to the existence of a god, with #5 pointing to the existence of his particular god.  These premises are:…

Fake, phony and fraud--the good "Dr." Eric von Anderseck--Do so-called "evangelists" have no shame?

Recently on Yahoo Answers, one of my questions in the R&S section was answered by someone claiming to be "Dr." Eric von Anderseck.  Now, anyone can claim anything on the internet, so I did some research on the man and found out that yes, his name is Eric von Anderseck, but NO he is NOT A REAL SCHOLAR, as he gave himself that designation through his "self accredited" school that he promotes through the internet.  I visited his website, where he promotes his own brand of theology, and claims… Continue

Movie Review - "Season of the Witch"--is not about witches--it is Christian propaganda

This movie was very disappointing as it does nothing but perpetuate false information and promote mob mentality. It is, IMHO, nothing but Christian propaganda, in which women are demonized, while Christian dogma, in the form of a mysterious text written by some alienated monks saves the day. How pathetic. In the movie, a so-called "witch" is possessed by a demon, and she is transported to a remote monastery by "christian soldiers" and "pious priests", where there is a rare text which contains… Continue

What's in an "ism"?

Many human beings feel the need to label themselves with an "ism," or an acronym, or an orientation, etc., but in the process some of them somehow forget that first and foremost, we are not a compilation of our "isms"--we are human beings. Yes, we are "unique" in a sense, but it is the "isms" of the world which causes us as humans to separate ourselves from one another.

Pride cometh before a fall??--I don't think so.

Perhaps one of the most pernicious doctrines of the Christian faith the the belief that pride is somehow an iniquitous trait, when in fact, this is not the case at all. Christians have it all wrong.

When speaking to Christians on the subject of pride, they tell me that pride is probably the most dangerous of sins, and it is pride which keeps them from…

My exchanges with Glenn Beck (By Popular Demand) on Yahoo Answers

As a regular on Yahoo Answers, I have seen a plethora of responses to various questions posted on the "Religion and Spirituality" forum, some of which were amusing, some intelligent, and some just plain stupid. In any case, during my time there, I have gained a great deal of insight into the minds of believers and unbelievers alike. I have also had the opportunity to converse with many of them, including one who was known as…
