A pretty big moment for me

I just said what I actually think about something on Facebook. Kind of silly, I know. But a pretty major step for me. I usually avoid saying what I think like the plague. Mostly because I'm afraid of confrontation and what my family will think. However, I'm starting to get to the point where it's just...screw it. If my family and friends can't accept me for who I am, then it's their loss.

Privilege

I was scanning friends' Facebook updates when I saw one that caught my eye. Basically, that God never fails to provide because she just received two job offers on one day! 

Really?  Except for all those people praying for jobs, or food, or clean water, or for their children not to die.  Just use your brain for two seconds.  Ugh.
