If You're the Smartest Person In The Room... You're In The Wrong Room.

I wanted to contribute my current day-to-day experience which shares much in common with those posting and agreeing that "They Can't  Live On This Planet Anymore!" and to offer what helps me through it every day.

When I'm not developing lectures and multimedia pieces for Innerspace Labs, (please see my profile for fun bits about that!), I pay the rent working as a supervisor in a print center.

It is, indeed a struggle, as my workplace is made up of proudly fundamentalist…

Rise of the Coffee Party - The Tea Party's Nemesis?

Shortly after Barack Obama was elected, a bizarre phenomenon came, seemingly out of nowhere. Suddenly the news was full of stories and images of a group of angry protesters calling themselves "The Tea Party." Although they claimed to be "populist" and "non-partisan" it should be obvious to anyone who has been following their political positions and the candidates they choose (all hard-right republicans) that they aren't "progressive" nor "populist"; and they are especially not…

I brewed a pot of jasmine tea to begin with. I spooned it three teaspoonfuls of leaf into the pot of hot water, making sure it didn’t boil to avoid unnecessary bitterness. After a minute and a half of steeping I removed the leaves and went outside.

Whenever he goes missing, I can't help but think of the saying "Curiosity killed the…

..I'm not a liberal.

(But I'm thinking of starting a brand name. :)

I participate in more than a few news sites.  In fact, my cousin owns one of my favorites (No, I'm not telling which one.)

I stay as publicly active on TA as possible.

I vote in EVERY government election.

We have come a long way.

We are quite possibly living in one of the most significant times in modern…

This is what i read every single day...

This is a copy of a letter to the editor of my local hometown paper. These are the kind of people i deal with in a daily basis.

The election is over and the American people have spoken. It is a new day, but what will…
