The good news?

It never seems to fail... Whenever the door to door religion salesmen come knocking, I'm just not home. Unlike most that want to avoid them, I would actually like to explain the errors of their flawed arguments. Sadly, they either come when only my wife is home, or when we are both out. The latter was the case yesterday. We got back to…

I was looking at the logo of a well-known american beverage brand. Imagine you don't know ANYTHING about it; how would you read the brand?
Right! Sinkist (SIN-KISSED)... kissed by sin!
I have found my new favourite beverage. Christian drinkers,…

Do Moderate Christians Need an "Adam"?
Previously, I discussed the idea that we can now definitively show that there was no single couple from which all of humanity descended, and discussed a few points made by ProfMTH, namely that Paul references Adam in same way he references Jesus. To me, this seemed a clear and inescapable contradiction to a foundational principle of Christianity, since Paul is obviously wrong in referencing Adam. Now this assertion faced…

Being raised christian with a rational mind
Ever since I was born my parents have always told me there was a god but no santa clause or tooth fairy. Do Animals "Sin"?

If animals do not sin, then why is it considered sin when humans engage in these same behaviors? To say humans are somehow superior to animals is to commit the sin of pride.
If animals do sin, then they should be visited by the wrath of god and subject to proselytizing, and all dogs really do go to…
