Catholic Church Don't Want Gay Customers

So we have yet again some more hypocrisy and arrogance from the Catholic Church.  The Catholic Church are apparently selling a mansion previously owned by a pedophile. But it seems that the Catholic church is still far too lacking in humbleness, still too arrogant, still to self righteous and still to hypocritical to be willing to seek the property of a gay couple.

Oh they have no problem protecting…

Human Rights...

Human Rights are not 'god given', if they were, we'd have a terrible time deciding what a human is. As an Atheist it's simple for me - all homo sapiens are human beings. No religion can change this! So, if you're reading this and are indeed of the homo genus, you are human; if you're not  -…

Case for judicial reform

Lady justice is blind, its the law and facts that will drive the results of the court cases. But unfortunately judges are deciding cases based on their political beliefs and judges who decide the cases impartially are being removed from their job.

In the 1800's after the civil war blacks were given voting rights in the south but the supreme court ruled people are separate but equal leading…

The Tyranny Vs the Humans of LGBT

Hello world, I am Réasúnach! As you can well see I have called this blog “The Tyranny vs the Humans of LGBT”. The tyranny is indeed in reference to the majority of mainstream religions practiced on this planet to this day, mainly Christianity & Islam.

I quite very purposely use the phrase “the humans of the LGBT”. Too often are the LGBT treated as less than human or second class citizens, which by the way there is no justification. I recall once coming across an…

Southern Fried Tyranny With Grits and Hypocrisy

So North Carolina decided that somehow it was a good idea to vote on a civil rights issue seeing how it all worked out so well the first time. This time it wasn’t some racist ideas but it was close enough. It was about gay people having the gall to demand fair treatment under law and be afforded a legal status that is for some reason given only to heterosexual couples. They want to get married.

I’m sorry but there’s this thing called Article 6 of the United States Constitution and…

Student removed from high school contest for a pro-gay remark

I just wanted to share this with everyone. The student involved in this incident is an old friend of mine, from elementary school. I haven't seen him in 3 years, but he is still very dear to me. I have personal experience with the vice principal who is the anti-gay bigot in this, Mr. Abell. He is not a good person or vice principal, I truly dislike him. You should also take the time to read some of the comments, it amazes me that some people are defending the VP for disqualifying him because…

NOT SAFE FOR WORK.

In a press release today last week, Maryam Namazie formally announced the #nudephotorevolutionary calendar.  As Aliaa Magda Elmahdy chose to stand up against female oppression, we too advocate for free-expression and women’s rights.  This calendar features black and white nude photographs, and I’m Ms.…

Homosexuality is an unnatural choice

Homosexuality is an unnatural choice.

It's an argument we've probably all heard before, that homosexuals are unnatural. This is completely false. In this blog I'll talk about what is and is not natural and why homosexuality is not a choice.

Everything we do is within nature. Humans have this idea that because we live in cities we are somehow above nature. This is false. We are just one species out of over a million others living on this blue marble we call Earth. Literally…

Egyptian Atheist risks her life and poses nude for freedom and human rights!

I absolutely admire this young brave lady and her boyfriend for standing up against tyranny. In a country that has Islamic fervor, these brave young individuals have sent a statement to those who value freedom to not be afraid of speaking up for your values. And what are those values? FREEDOM. Deciding what to do with your life and how to express yourself. I stand with these brave young souls for 110% - and this is coming from an…

The price of freedom is justice - ban religion!

The rights and freedoms you enjoy are neither rights nor freedoms - they are privileges. When you break a law, the first thing that happens is that you lose most of them after having had an unfortunate run-in with the justice system. In most countries, even at this point you are awarded a few privileges - prison law is a fairly abbreviated version of civilian law, more on par with military law.

Law is an ever increasing body of knowledge of behavior we find to be anti-social. It is…
