My creationist stepfather has come to visit for a couple weeks. I love the guy, but his religious stance is as bothersome as they come. We had a small argument about religion and science. He went on to spit all of the usual (and ignorant) creationist views at me. Don't dare discuss religion.

My mother is furious with me.

This is due to my attempts to have a discussion with her about religion. Most people are like that. I haven't met a person off of the internet (or not an atheist on the internet) who is willing to even touch the subject. How dare I try to mention that religion may be harmful!
