Hello TA! So I recently got to watch BIll Maher's documentary, "Religulous". Fantastic movie. (He's a bit of an ass at times but still gets the tough questions out there). It stars Bill Maher himself, roaming the country (and even parts of the Vatican itself), questioning the religious beleifs of people from America to Islam. It even has a few good laughs in it.
If anyone here hasn't seen it yet, PLEASE do. It is an amazing and hilarious documentary well worth your…Continue
I saw this today on my Facebook's homepage. Although the situation may not be funny, what my "ghetto" cousin said makes it so. Also, I edited the first part of the page. Islam is instinctual, there is a hadith that says a newborn is born instinctually, unless his parents raise him as a jew, christian or a majoosi(it's an arabic word for people who worship fire).
So if you let a baby grow up with no teaching of any religion, he/she will become a muslim eventually.
But then when I was just 5-7 years old & I was told that god(allah) created everything, why did the first thing that came to my mind was "who created god?" ? Wasn't…Continue
what makes me laugh is what people say when a "liberal" but still muslim person gets sick! they say it's "god's punishment and wrath"!!
but when a religious person of god gets the same sickness, it becomes "god's test of faith, and god tests the people he loves"
