I've left church, and I'm concerned with some things now.
Hello to all TA inhibitors. Hope everyone is having a great 2012 so far.
Late last month I posted a blog about me thinking about leaving a church group I was attending for almost a year. Well, I've left. I haven't ditched anyone's friendship since I still enjoy their company very much. I've told a few people whom I were close to in the church group about my departure. Some of the things they've said to me are things I'm very curious in learning about. One of my friends stated the…

Religious infection
Everywhere I turn, everywhere I go people are talking about god. Even my family is plagued by this nonsense. I use to live in California, and I've never had a problem wiht people praying before meals for the occasional "Bless you" because...It was occasional! Working with a Jehovah's Witness
It's sort of an interesting predicament I find myself in. On the one hand my coworker (we'll call her Jane, for the purposes of anonymity) is a perfectly lovely girl, and I rather enjoy her company. On the other, some of the things that come out of her mouth well and truly offend me.
The problem with being secular is that every time I find myself offended by a non secular comment, society makes me feel as though I don't have a right to be offended. But when someone literally says "I…
