Richard Muller, Previously one of the scientists who was skeptical of climate change... changes his tune.

Just a few things I wanted to share. I find so many people I interact with about the effects of global warming say, "So you really believe all that bs? Frankly, yes! And now so does one of the scientists who previously said he was skeptical of the research that had been done and of the data others had found.

Eugene Robinson's column in today's Washington Post:…

Welcome to our Semi-Dark Age: The Darkness Strikes Back

I've begun a series of video-essays on YouTube titled "Welcome to our Semi-Dark Age". The first episode is now up (in three parts, due to time-length restrictions by YouTube) - hopefully, my skills at video recording/editing will improve as I make more videos. Similarly, my pronunciation of English words remains a work in progress ... In any case, I've embedded herein the three videos of this first episode of the series, titled…

Thank you for the opportunity to speak before the court.  When I first met Mr. Manross, the sentencing officer who prepared the presentence report, he explained that it was essentially his job to “get to know me.”  He said he had to get to know who I really was…

gleemed from the cosmos

honestly, i have no idea what to suppose about this issue of climate change. are we a significant contributor? is it cyclical? i've seen graphs showing that carbon levels cause global warming, and then i've been shown that the warming actually precedes the carbon rises.

climate change skepticism is said to be evil, though in other areas my skepticism is encouraged. who can i trust? who should i believe about climate change? al gore? john stossel? give me a break! somebody just tell the… Continue

Ranking Member’s Senate Minority Report on Global Warming Not Credible, says CFI

I used to argue with a group of right wing radical religious fundamentalists about this very issue. They swore up and down that man was "incapable" of affecting the earth's climate through our industries' pollution. They would repeatedly cite cases of areas having the "coldest winter on record" as "evidence" that global warming was a hoax and just a way for "leftists" to make money. I pointed out the actual evidence of the historical temperature records since the industrial revolution showing… Continue

"This world is not the same as when God created it and said it was good. The sin of Adam changed the way nature functioned-the curse, the… Continue
