Nativity Naivete

Well Saturnalia is over–and I didn’t even get to see Saturn.
So I guess I will have to focus on Christmas instead.
The overwhelming majority of well educated Christians realize that there’s no evidence, not even from the bible, that this day is in any way the birthdate of Jesus. I’ve heard…

CHRISTMAS MIRACLES OR GOD'S PSYCHOSES?
What is the fascination with "Christmas Miracles?" Is this simply ignorant reporters searching for a catchy headline in order to draw readers to their story or is there more to it? It seems that always around Christmas the number of divine interventions increases. Holiday Toast
My wife and I are probably having my parents over for diner on Christmas, so I was sitting and remembered about how my dad likes to joke about saying grace in the name of fun. He always says it jokingly and is really just trying to get my mom to lighten up about the issue a little and realize my non-belief is fine and that the fact of me being a good person is what matters. I've always lived a pretty secular life, so my lifestyle didn't change much, but my way of looking at…

Christian Voice call for Ban on Twilight's Calendar.
Christian Voice says mixing religion with the cult vampire series is ‘deeply offensive’ to Christians.
‘It’s sickening to see the message of Jesus Christ being hijacked to peddle a brand like Twilight, which to all intents and purposes proclaims an anti-religious cult,’ said Stephen Green, national
director of the group.

Introducing The True Meaning of Christmas: Sparkly Jesus

Well everyone, it seems as though we did get it all wrong. While shopping I came across this gem of the holiday season and, clearly, the true meaning of christmas: sparkly jesus.
Honestly, this is some peoples idea of worship and praising their…
