First time i found disbelief as a kid
Hi, i just stumbled upon this site and decided I would share one of the first moments of disbelief in Christianity or deity.
It was back in maybe 2002 when i was in 2nd grade. I might have been about 8 or 9 at the time. I was living with my grandparents (who raised me as a christian) and we were watching a lot of dinosaur documentaries on discovery channel. So for the next week i had been contemplating the prehistoric creatures. I came to a conclusion of how Rhinoceros' were…

Another reason religion is a bad, bad, thing (like we needed another one)
Image being 15 years old, your parents have just sent you and your siblings to your aunt's house for christmas. Upon arrival, you are accused of being a sorcerer and tortured as such, and by christmas day, you have begged for the release and peace of death and are finally drowned.
I found the following link while browsing for my morning news: …

Let’s Put Claus Back Into Christmas:
A modest proposal
Remember Christmas when you were a child?
The Season was a time to come together as family and friends...and even make Peace with your enemies for at least a few days. Christmas was all about bringing people together. Religious differences were just like social class or politics or even gender...every town was like Mayberry and had their…

The Myth of the Risen Christ - The Problem of the Historical Jesus & The Origins of Christian Tradition
Last night I posted a video of an interview with Dr. Matt McCormick that argues against the reliability for the evidence of Jesus’ resurrection by comparing it to the Salem Witch Trials. The argument is amusing and reasonably makes sense, although in an interview he had on Think Atheist Radio, May, 8th, he admitted he didn’t think anyone would really bite on the bullet, so to speak. It turns out that there exist those who have.
One of the people commenting on the…

Chapter 4 hath arrived!!
Let’s groove tonight!!
“The man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, "I have produced a man with the help of the LORD." Next she bore his brother Abel. Abel became a keeper of flocks, and Cain a tiller of the soil. In the course of time Cain brought an offering to the LORD from the fruit of the soil, while Abel, for his part, brought one of the best firstlings of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on…
