It is refreshing to see that our northern border ally has too come to see the true threat facing humanity in the 21st century. It is also refreshing to see the visionary and bold former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom taking a clear stance against the illegal regime of the Islamic Republic - especially since he has strong influence with the Quartet - I am feeling more and more confident that the international community will soon stand more firmly with the Syrian people…
Discovered this morning that mypeace.com.au are giving away free English translations of the Quran to any and all non-muslim visitors who want one. Might only be valid in Australia but they did ask me what country I was in... Might be able to get the Quran anywhere in the world for free. Hopefully it will be good for those people who are interested in studying holy books for arguments sake. Could also be useful if you dont feel like paying for rolly papers for a while…

"The upper 1 percent of Americans are now taking in nearly a quarter of the nation's income every year. In terms of wealth rather than income, the top 1 percent control 40 percent.... I'm not surprised by the…
This article is extremely self-humiliating and pathetic. The author is borderline denigrating about him/herself and covertly insulting every human being on the planet.
I find it despicable and shocking that someone can clothe so much arrogance and haughty self-righteousness in such seemingly soft, generic humility. Their self-righteousness seems largely founded on an unspoken belief that the person who can make themselves appear as… Continue
I posed this question to someone called CreationPhysics on Twitter (please try to ignore the glaring oxymoron) but I received no reply.
Christians claim to know that the Bible is the inerrant word of God because of fulfilled prophecies, among other things which I will touch on in a moment. However, the argument of fulfilled prophecies is one of the most frequently used argument I have personally encountered in my debates with… Continue
I’m almost half-way through my second reading of the Quran and find myself wondering what it would take to make Westerners understand Islamic ideology. I could explain how Islam is a religious, legal and political framework for life . . . but others have already written books about that. So I decided I’ll just frame the problem of Islam as briefly as I can and let the reader consult the Quran if they doubt me. If this leads to just one person… Continue
A Christian mentioned to me a few days ago that it's disgusting how Allah tells Muslims to kill all non-believers in the Koran. I would just like to point out, if for no one's benefit but my own, that the bible says exactly the same thing. Christianity is a religion as violent as the Islamic faith, whether its adherents share that violent tendency or not, and it is absurd for Christians to say their's is a "religion of love."
The following is from a discussion, elsewhere, about Islam. Johnny, is confusing Muslims with Islam and is concerned about hatred in the world. My response clarifies my position about as well as I've ever clarified it, so I'm posting the exchange here in my blog.

First, there is a rational justification for not hating anyone. One day I think we can eliminate hate if we don't blow up the earth first.
I just ran across this essay from the eminent ex-Muslim, Ali Sina: the founder of FaithFreedom International. It expresses my own feelings on the subject better than I could. Note: I edited the essay for grammatical errors (Ali Sina is an Iranian and English is his second language).
The Problem is Islam, not Muslims
By Ali Sina
We have to make a distinction between Muslims and Islam. Muslims are people, human beings like… Continue
Ex-President George W. Bush was wrong when he said the terrorists have hijacked Islam. In fact, it is Islam that has hijacked the terrorists. Bush and those who agree with him insist that the terrorists aren’t “true” Muslims; that violence in the name of Allah is counter to the Quran and Islam.
Examine that sentiment closely: compare it to what the Quran actually says. The Quran does have a paltry few verses…
