Yesterday the Taliban carried out a 'hit' on a 14 year old Pakistani girl who has been vocal and outspoken on the Internet and in her local community about the rights of women to seek & receive an education. She survived but is in critical condition after being wounded in the head and neck. The Taliban said her behavior is blasphemous and must not be tolerated.
