John Stossel -Fox TV

Last night on Fox Business Channel John Stossel had a show covering god and religion. Michael Shermer and Lawrence Krauss (I think) were on the panel along with a couple theists. Shermer and the astrophysicist made several excellent points. Stossel is an agnostic and I thought the show was beneficial for atheists. The one main point that Stossel made for religion is that it is responsible for the majority of charitable actions towards those less fortunate in life and that theists…

How to be saved with the Catholic Church

In 1975 a young man made a statement to the Catholic Church to inform them that he had been abused – that is sexually assaulted on more that one occasion by one of their priests.  He also reported that other children were also being abused by the same priest. He was as much concerned for them as he was for himself. He met the church officials and gave his story while his father was asked to remain outside the room. He answered their questions honestly, even providing the names and addresses…

Where the hell is our country headed? The Michigan Bully Law...

(NOTE: I originally posted this on Facebook, but I'm reposting this here because I know a lot of the people here aren't on Facebook.)

Is TV Too Gay?

A discussion that got under my nerves and electrically shocked me into a spastic fit and eye twitches about the hit Fox t.v show "Glee", and, personally, I find that only until recently has there been a decent representation of gay teens on T.V/Movies, if any had been made at all in the past.

In this video, you'll see Bryan Fischer, director of American Family Association, which as you all know upon hearing, has to do with some sort of bigotry and…

Irony to the 204th power

In Moscow more that 204 parishioners at an Orthodox church became ill after drinking Holy Water. The Holy Water was obtained from a stagnant lake. Story So far it appears that no one has died.

Now to pick on the victims. Maybe if you didn't spend your Sunday's getting lessons from a Bronze Age God, you would move forward in life and understanding. Adding water treatment… Continue

You Don't Hate Enough so I'm Outta Here!

Agape Christian Church, Centerpoint Church and Word for Life Church of God were a part of a group of 8 churches that banded together for prayer and to feed the hungry. Turns out one of those other 5 churches supports the Gays! The three churches listed above, couldn't look past a potential disagreement to feed the hungry, they decided to pull out of the program because they didn't want to be "guilty by association".… Continue

Crying on Cable News

Washington diary: Crying on cable

By Matt Frei

BBC News, Washington

When John F Kennedy's life was brutally cut short by an assassin's bullet, Walter Cronkite told America the news.

He took off his black-rimmed glasses and cleared his throat as if to dislodge a piece of unwarranted emotion, paused for a few seconds and then continued with the business of delivering the terrible… Continue
