Dealing With Death

Continue"Nothing that has happened in my life since [I learned of my mother's death], nothing I believe and nothing I know, can provide consolation. This is why I suspect that I am in some way predisposed not to believe in God, because God is the only thing that could have provided solace... If I had felt that there was an afterlife, believe me, I would have killed myself then and there to join her." - Alom Shaha, The Young Atheist's…

Life is Most Certainly a Fragile Thing
Here we go again, my second blog post. Woohoo!!! Anywho, life as i'm sure you all will know, is in fact, fragile. I'm sure we all have lost friends and family, and the point of this blog post is that this has been on my mind lately. On April 18, 2012 one of my fellow classmates died in a car crash on the road right out in front of our school. Debate #1 with Creationism and the Origin of Life
So, there is a group on Facebook called Creationism and the Origin of Life. The admin on this group is pretty much a tyrannical dictator who will delete your posts if he disagrees with you, if you don't capitalise the "G" in the word god (no matter what the context), and has a lot of other ridiculous rules. Anyway, before I get booted from his discussions I decided to at least attempt to debate him. If anyone could help me out with how to respond to some of these posts I would appreciate…
