Was in a grocery store today in Northern Arkansas and noticed a store employee stocking shelves. On his shirt was fastened a campaign style button that proclaimed "I support Israel." Being on a first name basis with this fellow I couldn't control my curiosity and asked what the significance of the button was. Rabbis Declare 'Shabbat Elevators' Violate Sabbath Rules

In a story in USA Today, a decision has been handed down by a group of influencial rabbies in Israel that declares the use of "shabbat elevators" violates the prohibition against work on the sabbath.

A documentary (story) has come out exposing that in 1951 America paid the Israeli’s to irradiate Moroccan Sephardi children.
