Astronauts and God?

I just finished watching a show on the Discovery Science channel, the show was about the mission in 2009 to fix the Hubble telescope and to replace the cameras on it, the show was called "Mission critical: Hubble" if any of you wanted to check it out.

 

The show began and the shuttle launched. The astronauts had a camera so they can document of course, but the man who was the most in front of this camera had a floating cross necklace, which took my attention and made me think…

Science Journalism FAIL: Lies, damned lies, and Clash of the Dinosaurs

So I saw Clash of the Dinosaurs on Discovery last week. Even as science-curious-layperson I picked out a few things that I could tell production took liberties with. And the repetition of the same CGI was annoying. Here's a blog post by Matt Wedel, one of the 'talking heads' from the show illustrating how bad some science journalism can be.
