Atheist Parenting Moments

Despicable Timing

You can tell how well you are doing in giving your children the right sense of "Family" (capital F) when all the children shout in unison their reply when asked....................

Well let me explain.

We are all at the family farm this weekend and next week, eagerly awaiting birth of my sister's third baby (Nina is her midwife). My parents are gradually easing off running the family estate and handing over to my sister and hubby Geoff who left… Continue

- "Biology for Christian Schools" (Third Edition) by Thomas E. Porch and Brad R. Batdorf - 2005 BJU Press

Of all the disturbing things in this school book I've decided only to quote the opening to Chapter 8, The History of… Continue

Israeli Holocaust brought to you by.... America

A documentary (story) has come out exposing that in 1951 America paid the Israeli’s to irradiate Moroccan Sephardi children. The children were being taken to school trips by the government and unbeknownst to the parents, they were unwitting pawns in x-ray experiments. The children were exposed to 35,000 times the allowable x-ray limits. Of course this was to test the results… Sounds very much like the stuff the Nazi’s… Continue

My niece is awesome!

My oldest niece cracks me up. First off, my sister and brother-in-law have decided to let my nieces grow up religion free and let them make their own decision later on in life but they still celebrate Christmas and Easter (minus the religious aspects) Because of this, my niece has done some interesting things while growing up. A couple stories to help you understand.

When in first grade and at recess apparently a group of kids (including my niece) were having a in depth discussion… Continue
